Portrait commissions.Tony does his paintings using photographs as source material.
The best method is for him to take a large number of photos and to discuss with the client the prefered pose and composition.
Photos supplied by the client can be used if they are of sufficient quality, though such images can be enhanced by using the computer.
A suitable photograph should preferably not have been taken with front flash, though sometimes these can be made to work with a bit of manipulation.
Black and white images can be used and invented colour added if that is desired.
Prices vary according to size, materials and level of difficulty. Typically £400-£800
